General Description
The carbon rear hugger for the Ducati Multistrada DVT (from 2015), matte variant, replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Due to the sporty look of the three-dimensional carbon structure, the carbon part gives the single-sided swingarm an extra portion of dynamism. Naturally, our carbon part integrates the important mounting for the rear brake line and the ABS sensor cable. Especially the shock absorber with its sensitive piston rod is efficiently protected from spray water and road grime by the carbon part. The rear wheel cover in a matte finish perfectly matches the equally matte carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance, with which many Multistrada variants are already equipped ex works. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
