General description

The carbon rear fender for the BMW S1000XR replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The rear part of the chainguard is directly attached to this rear wheel cover. The original chainguard remains installed on the vehicle. In addition to its great look, our rear wheel cover also offers significantly increased protection against stone chips on the shock absorber; we have significantly extended the rear wheel cover compared to the original, but the great look has been preserved. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

The rear carbon fender with integrated chainguard for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points.
