The rear fender in a matt carbon finish for the Ducati V4 Streetfighter replaces the original component using the original mounting points.Key benefits include weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
