General description

Whether riding alone or with a pillion, the centre section for the rear fairing forms the basis for all overlying fairing parts. The unpainted plastic is replaced, making the rear look more premium in all combinations.
The focus is on weight savings (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores points technically, but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
