To further enhance the highly successful design of the BMW F800R (2009-2011), the carbon radiator trims have been significantly enlarged in shape, thereby concealing the exposed water hoses and the radiatorr. The extremely successful design of the F800R is further emphasised by this relatively small design modification. The carbon radiator trim replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
