Ilmberger Carbon Radiator Side Panel Cover left side L/S, glossy carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for BMW S1000XR, type 2X99, model year 2020-2023General description
The left carbon radiator side panel cover for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The primary focus is weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
