Ilmberger Carbon Radiator Fairing right side R/S for original coloured side panel, gloss carbon, with ABE according to usage list, for BMW S1000XR, Type 2X99, Model Year 2020-2023General Description
The right carbon radiator fairing for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. In this version, the carbon part is intended for use with the original, painted side panel. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured according to the latest guidelines completely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating doesn't just score points technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
