General Description

The radiator cover further enhances the aggressiveness of the Streetfighter. The original right sheet metal part is removed and replaced by the matte carbon part. Additionally, the weight is noticeably reduced.

The matte finish perfectly matches the surface of the Ducati Performance parts.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This allows the carbon part to perfectly blend into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, we use, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding, but also working on the bike is a pleasure, we only use the original mounting points for this part.
