General Description

The carbon radiator cover right side R/S for the BMW S 1000 R from 2021 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This allows the carbon part to perfectly nestle into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are fitted and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in an autoclave in several stages, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. It possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel for the same volume and, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear lacquer, this provides an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which truly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding, but also working on the bike is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
