General Description

The radiator cover for the BMW M 1000 R replaces the original component using the original mounting points. To complete the look, we recommend recommend the additional use of the Ilmberger carbon side panel in combination with the Ilmberger carbon winglets for the M1R.
The unmistakable look of genuine carbon with high-quality sealing highlights the aggressive appearance and the brutal power, performance of the new M.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in multiple stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencesn, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

So that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original fastening points for this part.
