Ilmberger Carbon Radiator Cover right side R/S (complete version), glossy carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for BMW S1000XR, type 2X99, model year 2020-2023General Description
The right carbon radiator cover for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. In this version, the complete part is replaced. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
