General Description

The radiator cover further enhances the aggressiveness of the Streetfighter. The left sheet metal part is removed and replaced by the matt carbon part. Additionally, the weight is noticeably reduced.

The matt finish perfectly matches the surface of the Ducati Performance parts.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This way, the carbon part perfectly nestles into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and hardenedd in several stages in an autoclave, convinces not only with a unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from influencess of all kinds from the environment, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding but also wrenching is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original mounting points for this part.
