Ilmberger Carbon Radiator Cover left side L/S, glossy carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for BMW
M1000R, Type SM99, Model Year 2023-

General Description

The radiator cover for the BMW M 1000 R replaces the original component using the original mounting points. To complete the look, recommend we suggest the additional use of the Ilmberger Carbon Side Panel in combination with the Ilmberger Carbon Winglets for the M1R.
The unmistakable look of genuine carbon with high-quality sealing underlines the aggressive look and the brutal power, performance of the new M.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric specially produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured hardened in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with a unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. It has three times the specific stiffness of steel at the same volume and, due to its particularly low density, also only a breakage part of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we use, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

So that not only riding, but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
