Ilmberger Carbon radiator cover left side L/S for original coloured side panel, gloss carbon, with ABE according to usage list, for BMW S1000XR, Type 2X99, model year 2020-2023General description
The left carbon radiator cover for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. This version of the carbon part is designed for use with the original, painted side panel. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
