Ilmberger Carbon Radiator Cover left side L/S (complete version), glossy carbon, with ABE according to application list, for BMW S1000XR, Type 2X99, model year 2020-2023

General Description

The left carbon radiator cover for the BMW S 1000 XR from model year 2020 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. In this version, the complete part is replaced.

The focus is on weight saving (usually a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
