General Description

The Racing seat in carbon for the BMW S1000RR from 2015 can be used in conjunction with the standard seat pad. This allows for easy adjustment of the seating position on the bike by adding or removing padding, adapting it to the rider's needs. No modifications to the rear are necessary to mount, fit, assemble our Racing seat. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is standard for us, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
