Ilmberger Carbon Racing Belly Pan for BMW S1000RR (from model year model year 2015-)

General Description

The one-piece racing belly pan for the BMW S1000RR from 2015 onwards is closed at the bottom. The belly pan is designed so that the original side stand can continue to be used; it fits perfectly with the racing fairing but can also be combined with standard fairing side panels. In this case, however, the front plastic insert (air inlet for the oil and water cooler) must be cut off at the height of the separation between the side panels and the belly pan, as the air inlet for the oil radiator is permanently attached to the carbon racing belly pan. For the installation of the racing belly pan, the fairing bracket set with item no. VHK.351.S1R15.K is required. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
