General Description
The carbon pillion seat cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and Monster 1200 S from model year 2017 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. This pillion seat cover is delivered with a matt finish.The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly re-emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
