General Description
The carbon pillion seat cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and Monster 1200 S from model year 2017 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. This pillion seat cover is supplied with a glossy finish.The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
