The carbon pillion seat cover for the Buell XB S models replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
