General Description

The pillion seat cover replaces the pillion seat in just a few simple steps, allowing for a quick change between pillion and solo operation.

For its carbon products, Ilmberger exclusively uses prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously hand-laminated and hardened in multiple stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with a unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, only one breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in Ilmberger products due to the high fibre volume content.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, Ilmberger, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, uses a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear lacquer, creates an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

To ensure that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
