General description

The one-piece carbon road belly pan for the BMW S1000RR is manufactured from special high-temperature pre-preg carbon material and was designed for use in conjunction with the original exhaust system (original presilencer). For mounting the belly pan, you will need the mounting kit with order number VEH.034.S100S.K. This kit includes the necessary brackets, screws, and quick-release fasteners. However, in conjunction with the fairing insert MSE.035.S100S.K, the belly pan can also be optimally mounted with a complete racing exhaust system. In this case, the fairing insert closes the gap created by the removal of the original presilencer. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
