General description

The one-piece carbon fairing upperpart for the BMW S1000RR replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The upper section is a one-piece design, with the mid fairing section already firmly integrated into the carbon part. No additional effort is spared in production to save weight, making the cutting edge of supersport motorcycles even sharper and lighter! The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
