The carbon oil cooler cover replaces the original component using the original mounting points and is designed for maximum airflow to the oil cooler. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability.
