The carbon number plate holder for the BMW R NineT replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The part does not have ABE or TÜV approval.The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
