The muffler/silencer-heel protector in carbon and matt finish for the Ducati Scrambler from 2016 onwards is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle. The parts are mounted using original mountingpoints. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far exceeds the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
