The rear carbon mudguard for the BMW S1000RR Stock Sport/Racing (2010-current) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The chainguard is also attached to this rear wheel. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
