The carbon front mudguard for the BMW R NineT series replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and then, as is standard for us, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
