General description

Thanks to a cleverly chosen design for the carbon mudguard, its appearance is somewhat more slender. However, the rear section of the mudguard was built very wide to minimise spray and increase its protective effect. The front mudguard for the BMW F800S / ST (2006-current) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave, according to the latest guidelines, and subsequently, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
