General Description

The front carbon mudguard for the Ducati Multistrada DVT (from MY 2015) and the Ducati Multistrada Enduro (from MY 2016) is offered with a glossy finish. As is usual with Ilmberger, the mudguard is attached at the original mounting points, and only standard mounting hardware is required. The mudguard features both an external mounting for the standard braided steel brake lines, and internal mountings for the guide of the important ABS sensor cable. This ensures that cables and lines are routed according to manufacturer specifications. The mudguard is longer than the original, thus providing better protection for the sensitive radiatorr and the front area of the engine from stone chips and other weather influences. The glossy finish of the front mudguard contrasts with the original Ducati Performance carbon parts, which are supplied by Ducati in a matte finish. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. The front carbon mudguard for the Ducati Multistrada DVT from 2015 is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle. It complements the vehicle and provides additional protection for the vehicle against damage. The parts are mounted using original mounting points.
