The Monoposto Racing Seat made of carbon with a glossy finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), SC82, from 2020 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Racing part - not approved for road use!The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
