General description

The sprocket cover is one of the most underestimated component on the entire motorcycle. Centrally mounted on the motorcycle, it surrounds the engine sprocket and does more than it might seem at first glance. It protects the engine and many other components from flying chain grease during riding. This grease is particularly stubborn as dirt and is difficult to remove from the soft surface of the original part. A hard surface, such as that found on high-quality carbon, is better suited here.
But not only technically, but also visually, the component can exploit its full potential. Installed in just a few minutes, the quality of the motorcycle is enormously increased. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly placed into the mould and aligned with each other. In this way, the carbon part nestles perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more stunning the overall result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use Prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with a unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. It has three times higher specific stiffness than steel for the same volume and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of influences from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unrivalled and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding, but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
