The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati 1199 Panigale is delivered with a matt painted surface and thus blends perfectly into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
