The lower heat protector/exhaust end cap in carbon for the Ducati Supersport 939 with ABE is delivered with a matte painted surface and thus blends excellently into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts.The lower heat protector/exhaust end cap in carbon for the Ducati Supersport 939 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as usual, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also significantly emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
