The lower fuel tank cover from Ilmberger Carbon for the BMW R 1300 GS is a real eye-catcher and gives your motorcycle an individual touch. Thanks to its high-quality appearance, this highly visible spot in the centre of the motorcycle is perfectly showcased. The lower fuel tank cover can be mounted individually but is also perfectly combinable with the upper fuel tank cover. This way, you create your very own look and stand out from the crowd.

Here, the innovative BDC material is used, giving the component a completely new and individual touch. The surface of each BDC part is unique and resembles marble. The BDC is also hand-laminated at Ilmberger and cured in several stages in an autoclave. The material not only convinces with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The various fibres scatter the incident light and create an unprecedented reflection.

For this component, the final clear coat layer is in a satin matte version, emphasising the luxurious sporty look of the component.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from influences of all kinds from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides a hitherto unrivalled and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
