General Description
The lower frame cover (matte) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S is delivered with a matte finish, perfectly matching the original Ducati Performance parts, which are also supplied in matte carbon. The Ilmberger Carbon frame cover (lower) cleanly and precisely seals off the vehicle underneath. The component is exclusively bolted to standard mounting points.The primary focus is weight savings (typically a reduction of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
