General Description
The fairing upper part (lower section) in matt carbon finish for the Ducati V4 Streetfighter replaces the original component using the original mounting points.Weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness are paramount. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
