The right side R/S lower fairing (gloss) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S is supplied with a gloss finish, contrasting with the original Ducati Performance parts supplied in matt carbon. The Ilmberger carbon side fairing is installed in place of the standard plastic part. The Ilmberger component is mounted exclusively at standard mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
