General description

The lower fairing left side L/S (gloss) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S is delivered with a glossy surface, contrasting with the original Ducati Performance parts, which are supplied in matt carbon. The Ilmberger carbon fairing side panel is installed instead of the standard plastic part. The Ilmberger component is mounted exclusively at standard mountingpoints.

The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect it against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
