The belly pan on the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is a multi-part assembly. Our left extension of the lower fairing does not replace the original colour design but enhances it. The high-quality red-painted original part is retained, while the plastic part behind it is replaced and extended. Inspired by the original curves and edges, the sportiness of the motorcycle is further enhanced.The matt finish is identical to the surface of the Ducati Performance parts.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This ensures the carbon part perfectly integrates with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and autoclave-cured in several stages, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. At the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, also only a fraction of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This provides, in combination with our clear coat, an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
To make not only riding but also wrenching a pleasure, we only use the original mounting points for this part.
