The Ilmberger Carbon exhaust heat shield for the BMW R 1300 GS protects the rider's leg from the heat of the exhaust.
The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch.

The final clear coat comes in the timeless gloss version and underlines the sporty appearance of the motorcycle!

The BDC material is unique on every part and resembles marble. The BDC is also hand-laminated at Ilmberger, cured in several stages in an autoclave, and impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The various fibres scatter incident light, creating an unprecedented reflection.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from influencess of all kinds from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
