General Description

Thanks to the combination of elegant curves and sharp edges, the heat protector carbon exhaust hugs the modern lines of the new Aprilia like no other. But it offers many advantages not only visually, but also technically. High-quality carbon dissipates heat significantly slower than the original part's materials would. This keeps the exterior noticeably cooler in comparison and better protects the foot from burns.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are laid and aligned by experts in the mould. This ensures the carbon part integrates perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycles. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
Exclusively for this carbon, specially produced prepreg fabric, similar to that used in Formula 1 and aerospace, is utilised. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and hardenede in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with a unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. It possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel at the same volume and simultaneously, due to its particularly low density, also only a breakageteil of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influencesn, Ilmberger Carbon, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, uses its specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with clear lacquer, this provides an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the material's high quality.
To ensure that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, this part exclusively uses the original mounting points.
