Left cover next to the cockpit - BMW R 1250 RS (LC) from 2019This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, then covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
