The shock absorber cover (large version) in carbon for the Ducati 1199 Panigale is delivered with a matt lacquered surface and thus perfectly integrates into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The shock absorber cover in carbon for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically approx. 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in protective effect, scratch resistance and durability.
