The carbon intake pipe cover for the left side of the BMW R NineT Scrambler replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Our intake pipe cover weighs only 30g. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
