The carbon instrument cover for the Streetfighter V2 with a gloss clear coat finish replaces the original part using the original mounting points.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are laid into the mould and aligned by experts. This ensures the carbon part nestles perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric specially produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only boasts a unique appearance but also exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material against all kinds of environmental influencess, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
So that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
