General description

The instrument bracket for the S1000RR Racing is part of the racing fairing for the BMW S 1000 RR from 2023. This enables the use of quick-release fasteners for the carbon racing upper fairing. It protects the underlying cockpit significantly better than the original part, with a noticeable weight reduction.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately hand-laminated and cured in multiple stages in an autoclave, convinces not only with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencesn, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

The instrument bracket is bolted to the original mounting points.
