The carbon ignition lock cover in a matt finish for the Ducati Diavel 1260 from 2019 replaces the original part and is bolted to the original mounting points on the vehicle. This high-tech carbon part is significantly lighter than its standard plastic counterpart! But as always, we not only focus on weight saving, but also on the increased rigidity of the material and the particularly sporty look of the carbon fibres. In its matt finish, the carbon part perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance parts.The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
