The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati Supersport 939 with ABE is delivered with a gloss-lacquered surface and thus blends perfectly into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts.The carbon ignition lock cover for the Ducati Supersport 939 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, then coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
