General description
This carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.Weight saving (generally a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness are paramount. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
